My frirst two soutache items - green pendant and pink brooch

Plastic beads, old button and few different peases of soutache – all I needed for these two small items.

Silver and pink soutache necklace

Plastic beads and button with soutache and silver trimming make a nice sparkly necklace which is rather prickly becouse of metallic cover of the trimming.

Coral pendant with white soutache

Small and very light soutache pendant with red and pink coral beads and plastic teardrop beads.

Felted soap in tin Heards, Red, Orange, Yellow, Romantic

This tin is bigger then the one with a cat, so it fits 3 soaps in shapes of heards. They all wrapped in tissue paper and a little leaflet is included.

I have published it for sale on my Etsy shop, here

Felted Purse small shell

Here is a small perse I created long agow (3-4 months) when I just was starting to use resists for making 3D felted items like bags, purses and hats. It can be used as a coin purse or to store something small, like jevelery.

happy trio: pink, silver and black+silkYesterday I received my resent fibres order from South Island – Silver Merino wool, Pink Romney, and dyed Black Merino with white mulberry silk. They sure do look nice on my dining table – good enought to eat. But no, they are feast for eyes as is, we will se how they will look like when felted. I expect that the beautiful silver-grey Merino wool will be felting really well, it looks fine and light. The pink romney was ordered for a pair of slippers for our Daycare ticher, I hope she has not forgotten that she wants a pair of pink “adult booties” in pink colour with flowers. I am planing to use the black merino with silk together with the similar blend in orange colour for some special dramatic felted scarf.

I cannot wait to start felting.

Louisa
