Felted scarf made of romney wool and soy roving

The scarf is very soft, long and interesting. The soy silk is just like a liquid gold.

Felted slippers, scarf and wool roving

Brown Romney from Tally Ho carding company makes wanders

Hello,

Couple of days ago I have done a new scarf using my Romney wool and soy fiber roving and a pair of summer slippers with flower decoration and vinil soles stitched. Today I am publishing the photos I took in my garden.

Felted slippers in my garden

The old black monster from my garden holds on to my newly created felted slippers

Hello,

Today  I have decided to make something nice using the very soft brown Romney wool I bought from Tally Ho farm last year. I know it is good, very soft and humble. I had made one pair of slippers for myself and two more pairs for my friends as Christmas presents. From my own experience it is not scratchy and very soft.

So I decided I can do one more pair of slippers for sale and try to use this wool for a scarf, which can be either for him, or for her. To embellish the scarf I used some soy fibres roving I bought earlier from TradeMe. I like this soy fibres as they look like liquid gold with felted wool, especially when used in contrast with darker colours.

I spent about 2.2 hours felting these slippers and the scarf and at the moments they are drying in peace. I still need to deside what to use as anbellishement for the slippers, and to make some fabric under-soles for them. I will finish them tomorrow and take some pictures for this blog and for my Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/FeltSoapGood.

Good night for now,

I will come back with pictures tomorrow.

This is a funny looking one,

Imagethis is kind of a tree with the balls of wool in different colours on it, like fruits. I like it, but is was not noticed ib Etcy so far.
