Today I have received a very good feed-back from Jo, who ordered a pair of big slippers for her and her husband. It Says:

“We absolutely love our slippers, thank you so much. They are warm, cosy and really well made. The designs are brilliant too!”

It took meImage a lot of time to make them, I even ordered some extra wools from Tally Ho Carding company to please the overseas couple. The result worth it, here is a picture:

My first big felting project - Felted vest with leaves

I have been preparing for the “proper” felted wool items for some time now. This vest is my first attempt to felt a warm and soft wearable items (scarfs are not the same I fill). This vest was made using silver merino roving and coloured blends with mulberry silk. I tryed to make seams as invisible as possible, and almost managed to make it right. At least it is going to be warm.

Hello,

I have already done a little silver purse and even decorated it with lace and beads. Purse was felted from silver merino wool and soy silk, lace and beads were added later. I still need to add a zip, and it will be ready to go to a little home ware shop with “Romantic” written all over it. I hope it will be romantic enought for the owner Diane.

Here is a picture.
